Bertie is very playful and loves going for walks and playing with his toys. His favourite toys are a Christmas Gonk cushion ( not an actual toy) and a tree house with squirrel’s in. He is very territorial of his toys and I don’t feel he would like it if a young child took them off him. Bertie is very loving and gives the most amazing hugs. He loves being cuddled and stroked, especially under his chin. He does not like raspberries blown on his tummy as this can startle him and makes him anxious. Bertie gets anxious when he first meets new people and dogs. This means that he barks a lot and looks to you for comfort and approval. I feel he would thrive as a sole pet in a household where he can get all the attention that he deserves. This will help him feel secure, especially when meeting new people and dogs.
